Dr Rahil Moriswala is available for in person appointments at our Shepparton Regional Hub as well as via telehealth.

Rahil greatly enjoys regional outreach clinics, which he provides regularly from his base in Adelaide. He has spent time in Perth, Melbourne, Sunshine Coast and even as far north as Townsville.

Dr Rahil Moriswala attained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from University of Queensland in 2013. He completed physician training through Western Health, Melbourne in 2018, with ICU & Cardiology experience at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

He has completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology in 2023 at Townsville University Hospital (2023) and Advanced Cardiac Imaging at Flinders Medical Centre (2024), and also maintains a current research role at Flinders Medical Centre.

His expertise lies in a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, with a particular focus on advanced cardiac imaging techniques, including the use of cardiac CT & MRI to better understand complex heart conditions and tailor treatment strategies to his patients.

Rahil believes in a person-centred approach with a strong emphasis on effective communication and patient education.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys a variety of hobbies including woodworking, hiking and exploring nature, accompanied by his dog.

Dr Rahil Moriswala is an independent cardiologist consulting from the following locations: Flinders Private Hospital, Calvary Private Hospital, Hawthorn Clinic, Woodville Clinic, Berri Clinic, and Mount Gambier Clinic.
